I created this tensioner from another one and heavily modified its design to fit my needs. My Z-Belt (the top belt) on the Sidewinder had become very loose, causing layer shift problems. I built the tensioner and now those issues are completely gone! Adjusting Tension: To adjust the tension, move the tensioner further left or right for more tightness, or slide it towards the middle for a looser belt. Required Prints: You'll need to print two essential parts: The Clamp and the 44mm Gear. Optional Parts: Consider printing or using three real 3mm screws. You may also want to print or use an M3 T-Nut, but be sure not to overdo it. One 5mm screw will also come in handy, which you can either print or use a real one. A bearing is optional, as the tensioner works just fine without it. I printed mine in PLA at 0.15 resolution with Tree Support. While I believe support was necessary, feel free to experiment with different resolutions, such as 0.3, and see how it turns out. Feel free to use this design and leave a comment if you like it!
