Z Balance Helper
thingiverse
I created this simple tool to ensure perfect balancing of the Z axis. Initially, it was a real challenge to accurately measure the height of both sides and achieve precise alignment. To simplify the process, I designed the tool to clip onto both Z-axis guides and move downwards until the stepper motors start rattling, then move them back up again. This innovative approach guarantees that both sides are perfectly level, eliminating the need for additional measurements. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: No Notes: For optimal results, print the part twice in succession, not simultaneously, to prevent any discrepancies caused by slight bed warping or calibration issues. The tool's height is irrelevant as long as it remains identical on both sides. It is specifically designed to attach to 8mm guide tubes.
