Z Axis Switch Trigger Arm (for M3D's Crane also Fits Creality)
thingiverse
This was designed to activate the Z Switch manually by micro-stepping it, rather than physically moving the Z Switch around. Now you can use the dial freely. To adjust the gap size, simply turn the dial clockwise for a larger gap and counter-clockwise for a smaller one. The device requires 1-20mm 3M screws and 2-3M nuts to function properly. One nut is inserted into the mount for the screw, while the other secures the screw in place within the dial knob. Although not essential, a spring can be used to maintain tension. This tool clips directly onto the gantry arm with ease. Printed with three walls and 50% infill for added strength, this device is built to last. For screws and nuts, refer to the following Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075QKQGTD According to Chris Gizzi's expert advice, if you divide the dial into ten equal parts (each measuring 36 degrees), your increments should be 0.1mm each. This assumes the use of metric screws with a 1mm pitch, resulting in 1mm of movement per rotation. This manual micro-stepping device is an optional feature that allows for more precise control over your steps when using the MMU Dial.
