z-Axis stabilisers - Robo 3D r1
myminifactory
We're rolling out an update to address the Z ripping defect. Our team crafted and rigorously tested these z-axis stabilisers with one goal in mind: enhancing our prints' quality. We've discovered that our helical couplers were wobbling, but a collaborative effort with Robo 3D helped us develop this solution. To print it successfully, use 0.2 layer thickness and ensure the gap between the soft rod and your stabiliser is less than 1mm. Also, verify that your z-axis moves down and up seamlessly. These initial prototypes are still under development; however, you can see our Stormtrooper print at 0.2mm resolution on 150% speed using Simplify 3D software.
