Z-Axis servo driver

Z-Axis servo driver

An updated test file with a 10mm calibration ruler has been added (in mm). The code plots a ruler on the X and Y axis using the Z axis with a pen, simulating an RC Servo axis. For those who want to use a servo in GRBL for the Z axis without altering firmware significantly, this drop-in replacement is ideal. It converts DIR and STEP signals into PWM for an RC servo by reading step counter internals. This hack works well with existing hardware; no major firmware changes are needed. You can even use three servos to run the entire machine. An ATtiny 25/45/85 running at 8 MHz is required. Detailed schematics will be provided later. The code was designed for a DVD drive plotter now using GRBL and true gcode, with a demo video available here: http://youtu.be/KZ46Kgq2LHk.
