Z Axis rod/screw support
cults3d
Lightly modified version to avoid the outer face overhanging the edge of the frame linked here - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1800202. Simple top support for the Z-axis on the Max Micron 20/20 aluminum frame printer, designed to replace the stock acrylic piece which seems too prone to cracking. Key features include: •A return path added to the backside for easier squaring. •A hole for a third bolt is included, though it's not strictly necessary. The underside of the rod stop now features nut holders, eliminating the need for a wrench in that tight spot. It's essential to note that these nuts don't require excessive tightening; simply snug them lightly against the rod to prevent any potential issues. Additionally, higher standing versions will be available soon after new Z motor mounts are designed. With some minor modifications, it's possible to gain an extra 10mm of height.
