Z-axis rigidity ANET A6
thingiverse
To securely fasten the A6 printer on a wooden tray, stiffen it, and eliminate vibrations in the Z-axis, follow these steps. This makes it possible to stabilize and stiffen the printer while eliminating unwanted vibrations in the Z-axis. To achieve this, you will need the following parts: Eight washers with an 8mm diameter are required to support the weight of the printer on the wooden tray. Eight M8 nuts provide additional stability to the printer's base, ensuring it remains secure on the tray. Two threaded rods with a diameter of 8mm and length M8 are needed to connect the printer to the tray securely. Two bearings with dimensions 8x22x7mm help to reduce friction between moving parts in the Z-axis, providing smoother operation. To complete this upgrade, you will also need six screws with a diameter of 3mm and a length of 15mm. These screws are used to attach the printer's base to the wooden tray, ensuring it remains stable during printing.
