Z-Axis Nut Holder/Support Printrbot LC

Z-Axis Nut Holder/Support Printrbot LC

The original nut holder on PrintrBot LC has issues with stability and cheap design, leading to wobbling during printing. To address this issue, I designed an improved nut holder that can be installed atop the nut support, replacing the bottom mount. Adjustments to your printer settings may be required; I used a layer height of .2mm for successful results. The walls should not be thinner than 3 mm as it weakens the structure (I learned this through experience). The mod also improved calibration and rod wobble. I designed this using Solidworks 2014, but feel free to use your preferred software for customization. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. After thorough observation and measurement, I spent several hours perfecting the design before printing it five times to ensure accuracy. The left side required adjustments by removing some walls compared to the right side.
