Z-axis Linear Rail Mod
thingiverse
I wanted to add linear rails for my Z-axis and did not have the predrilled plates (blv mod) so I decided to create my own. This mod allows to add MGN12H linear rails to the Z-axis of an Ender 3 Pro, I do not have a standard Ender 3 but I am assuming it would work as well. I have tried it with the dual z motor and leadscrew plate mod and it works as well. The reason I added the spacers to the plate was to help from the twisting of the axis on one another. If there is a slight amount of looseness that creates any movement, the z leadscrew will bind and your prints will fail. I was able to remove this z binding issue by making the plate and spacers "one piece"
