Z-Axis Leveler

Z-Axis Leveler

This is a Z-axis referencing button for manual leveling printers, version 2.0. The printer has a screw positioned over the Z-axis end-of-line knob, which adjusts the distance from the extruder to the surface. Basically, it is a step indicator, which divides each pitch of the leveling screw into eight parts. If a screw pitch is one millimeter, we can regulate the distance from the extruder to the surface with precision of 0.125 millimeters. Together with the adjustment knob, we developed the metal blade technique. Instead of using a business card made of cardboard to measure the distance from the extruder to the surface, we use a metal blade. This is because the thickness of the blade does not change when the hot extruder presses on it, as with the business card. More details in the video https://youtu.be/TbMMdfG7EGk. Another detail is that in Brazil, we don't say bed; we say table. Have fun, nerds!
