Z axis Indicator

Z axis Indicator

thingiverse

There are two Z-axis indicators on my 3D-printer that sometimes miss steps. These signs clearly indicate a problem with the Z-axis. To troubleshoot a single Z-axis, use these indicators as an auto-home indicator. This design is perfectly suited for couplings with a diameter of 19mm. For optimal results, print it with light-colored filament. If you have two Z-axes, print two sets of this design. If the sleeve doesn't fit snugly onto the coupling, simply scale the design and reprint it. For added visibility, apply contrasting colors to the indicator lines so they stand out easily against the background. Installation is a breeze: First, attach the base to the stepper motor's flange. Next, mount the sleeve onto the Z-axis's coupling. Finally, calibrate your Z-axis carefully and align these components to their center points.
