Z-Axis Hight Calibration Tool / Machinists Jack

My 3D printer features dual Z-axis motors that precisely control the X-axis's vertical position. I sought a solution to effortlessly align its two sides, and this design is the result. The adjustable support boasts an impressive range of 96 to approximately 160mm in height adjustment, paired with a sturdy 36mm diameter. To ensure delicate adjustments are possible, I opted for an M24x1 thread, which not only offers fine granularity but also self-locking properties. This means it resists movement even under load, preventing accidental adjustments. To further secure the height, a lock nut can be employed. Printing this design requires attention to detail due to its tight tolerances and relatively long thread. Therefore, I recommend using a maximum resolution of 0.1mm and ensuring your printer is meticulously calibrated. A test print of the nut and bolt components is also highly advisable. _Printer settings:_ Material: PLA Resolution: 0.1mm (maximum) Wall thickness: 1.2mm Infill percentage: 30% Support material: No
