Z-Axis end stop shim for Ender3 Pro with Creality glass bed
thingiverse
This is a straightforward shim to offset the z-axis endstop. Simply slide it over the z-axis motor plate directly above the end-stop switch to stop your z-axis by 2.9mm, which is the thickness of the Creality Glass Bed. As it doesn't require any screws or fittings, you can add or remove it in a snap, freeing you up to switch between glass bed and magnetic mat as you see fit. Installation: Raise the z-axis so that you can access between the motor plate and the z-axis endstop switch. Then slide the shim on to the metal plate so that the flat side is at the bottom and inline with the z-axis endstop switch. It will now trigger the switch and stop the z-axis 2.9mm earlier, compensating for the difference in thickness between the default magnetic mat and the replacement Creality glass bed. I've only got the E3Pro, so I don't know if it works on any other setup. Please comment to let me know if it works for you or if you have a different z-gap?
