For optimal z-axis stability, connect the rods; two rods offer increased stiffness. Adding a clamp between them creates a rigid frame. Ensure equal distance on top and base before fastening clamps, with x-ends at their highest point for accuracy. Long Printrbots may require extra "double clamp middle" placement. Check for frame collisions with the x-unit and adjust z-max accordingly to prevent mechanical endstop issues. Assemble with 4 M3 x 20 mm screws, nuts, and washers, as well as 8 M3 x 12 mm screws, nuts, and washers. Note that the frame resembles a handle, but it's not for lifting your Printrbot.
