Z-axis cleaner and filament guide
thingiverse
This is a combined Z-screw cleaner and filament guide, carefully crafted by remixing the fantastic filament guide for CR-10 and Ender 3 created by Greg191134. The grease on the Z-screw can be unevenly distributed, causing small debris to get stuck, which in turn makes the gantry's rise not as smooth as it should be. This is a common cause of z-banding in prints, affecting their overall quality. To address this issue, take an old Oral-B toothbrush head and carefully cut it as shown in the picture. You may also need to trim the bristles slightly for better contact with the Z-screw. Place the modified toothbrush head into the holder and begin printing right away. Note: It is essential to cut the length of the toothbrush head, or else it could potentially damage your printer when the gantry reaches its top.
