I've discovered that assembling my Anet A8 involves Z-spindles that are excessively tightly guided within the upper bracket. Despite making accurate adjustments to the spindle clutch on the motor, the spindle jammed just 3mm into the upper hole. That wasn't enough for me and while printing in the hole, the spindle wobbled back and forth erratically. With my centering aid, however, the spindle remains remarkably quiet when printing.
