I found it challenging to come up with a reliable way to measure accurately and consistently the Z axis to set up both micro switches. To achieve this, I calculated the average distance between the X and Y 8 mm bars as they were originally installed on my printer. For me, this came out to be 64 mm when "home all" was completed.\r\n To use this method first, clean up any debris from the print. Then snap the wide end of the adjustment mechanism onto the Y rail and rotate it onto the X rail (with the motors turned off). Next, adjust the Z screws by hand to ensure that the X rail rests comfortably in its cup without bending or warping anything. After that, adjust the long Philips screw that actuates the switch until it just triggers, then repeat this process for the other side and finish with the same step. Note: you may need to back off the adjustment screw to "untrigger" the switch first.\r\n I'm confident that this approach will be helpful, and I believe the concept can be applied to other printers as well.
