**VERSION 2.0 UNVEILED WITH CRUCIAL ADVANCEMENTS. OBSERVE CHANGE IN ALUMINUM TUBE LENGTH** **COMPATIBLE WITH DUAL Z MODULATIONS** I acknowledge this is one of several similar mods available, but I was dissatisfied with the existing options due to their excessive hardware requirements for mounting. Therefore, I employed my preferred approach to create an alternative: tapered threads! Some printers may need to print the brackets with support and/or a brim. You will require 1x each of the brackets and 4x of the nuts. **You sacrifice some Z axis height** with this mod; however, I have not calculated the exact loss. Edit: Approximately 20mm. Perhaps I will develop another version where you lose none. **Furthermore, you will need:** 8x M4 tee nuts 8x M4x15mm socket head cap screws or similar 2x 610mm lengths of 1/2" aluminum tubing Additionally, some type of vinyl wrap or paint to enhance the appearance of your aluminum tubes. I used a faux carbon fiber wrap. You may need to apply some painters tape on the aluminum tube to enable the brackets to grip the tubing. Note that during assembly the aluminum tubing **is not** supposed to reach the bottom of the brackets. If you require a remix for different hardware or tubing, please do not hesitate to ask; I am more than willing to accommodate your needs. Update 1: I added a version of "Plug" file that should work for M8 threaded rod instead of 1/2" aluminum tubing. Update 2: I was unhappy with the original design's installation process, so I redesigned it into Version 2.0. It is superior in nearly every aspect. Aluminum tubing length reduced from 650mm to 610mm. Version 1 files have been removed. Update 3: An untested prototype set of STL files has been added to use M8 threaded rod instead of 1/2" aluminum tubing. If it requires adjustments, please let me know, as I do not possess an M8 rod for testing purposes. It still would utilize the same Nut file.
