Z Axis Bearing Support

Z Axis Bearing Support

This derivative could possibly be of Jetguys' design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6184); however, it was inspired by that model. Instead of using bushings, the creator prefers bearings, similar to Jetguys' idea. However, they didn't want to permanently modify their ToM with tubes and decided to incorporate bearings on the Z-axis. The current design uses 3x8x3 mm bearings attached to the supports. This creation is tailored for HBP and won't fit ABP. To assemble, print two copies of the model and mirror them along the X-axis. Attach bearings at designated points on each support. Remove a Z-rod from the top, detach the lower bushing, and unscrew the bottom plate. Replace these with longer bolts (e.g., 20mm) and attach the bracket to the bottom plate. Ensure proper installation of corner bolt using a ball hex wrench. After replacing the Z-rod on the opposite side, recalibrate your Z height as it may have changed due to the new angle of the Z table. Note that you might need to drill out the mounting holes, but not those for bearings.
