z-axis bearing holder and z-bar stabilizer for prusa p3steel revised
thingiverse
Prusa Steel now boasts a reinforced Z-bar stop and a stabilizing bearing at the top of its Z-rod. I have revamped and enhanced my previous design to achieve this improvement. This modification is highly beneficial in maintaining stability for both the Z-bar and the Z-rod. To implement it, simply remove the 0.3 mm supports on both sides. Secure the stabilizer using the existing M3x10 screw. Key specifications: Z-shaft diameter - 8 mm; Z-rod diameter - 5 mm. For effortless level calibration of your Z-axis, consider my endstop mount design, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2793629.
