To rectify my original wobble issue, I followed Radus' part redesign. The problem stemmed from a slightly bent z-threaded rod causing nut wear and immobility due to bends. A YouTube video showcases this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qlw363e1z_k). I then widened the threaded rod hole for smooth x-carriage movement. Next, I inserted two M5 nuts with a 7mm diameter spring between them from Home Depot, compressed to 4-5mm. The spring allows the bottom nut to push onto the threads and top nut to push against them. A notch on one end accommodates an 8mm smooth rod as a guide to prevent rotation. Soon, I'll upload a video demonstrating the improvement.
