Z-axis anti wobble for Geeetech Prusa i3
thingiverse
I installed lead screws on my printer, and the worst Z wobble disappeared instantly. However, I was left with some minor periodic wobble, which prompted me to take further action. I decided to decouple the X-axis and Z-axis lead screws to eliminate any remaining vibrations. This design uses a M8 Hex nut, but it won't work with standard lead screws - that's why I created a custom solution. It's specifically designed to fit my current lead screw "circle nut," but it should also work with most standard threaded rod "circle nuts" commonly used in printers. To assemble the decoupler, print the two parts with the hex nut formation facing upwards and secure them together using M3 hex nuts and a strong adhesive. This will ensure a solid bond between the two components.
