I've crafted a robust Z-axis for effortless machining of aluminum. To minimize play and excess movement often seen in cantilevered designs, I opted for a sturdy solution. My creation rides smoothly up and down on four precision-crafted 20 mm shafts. The X-axis is anchored by two unyielding 25 mm shafts, providing unwavering stability and rigidity. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the final result.
