Konno Yuuki's Sword From SAO2's Mother's Rosario Arc Now with Stunning Pictures!! Over all Very Happy with the End Result. Printed at 0.2mm Layer Height, Two Walls in Purple PLA. Then Super Glued the Sections Together. To Finish, a Fine Grit Sand Paper Was Used to Clean Up the Glued Edges and Any Other Irregularities. Handle Feels Much Better at 25mm Than at 50mm Diameter. The Blade Base Looks a Little Narrow But I'm Happy with the Ratio. The Whole Thing Feels Quite Strong, Although It Does Flex a Little Bit. Expected That Outcome, Though. In Improvements for the Future Would Be: Stronger Material Try More Sanding to Smooth Out Layer Highs Polishing Sticking Together with Plastic Not Glue V1.3 Will Be the Final Version for Now, But May Revisit It in the Future. Very Happy with the Model It Made (Just Need to Print It). The Code Has Become Very Messy and Needs Rewriting, But That's Not a Priority. Share and Enjoy - This Is My First Model from Images and I Enjoyed Making It, Hoping You Do Too. V1.2 Now Has a Slicing Feature That Cuts the Sword Up into Sections for Printing. Use Slice Var to Turn On (1) or Off (0), Then Enter Printer's Height. You Can Then Change Section Var to Choose a Section and Render/export As Stl. Slicing Starts from Just Below the Blade - Numbers Are for the Handle and Plus Numbers Are for the Blade. Updates: V1.3: Bug Fixed Where Model Wouldn't Render So I Kinda Messed Up on Sizes. A 50mm Diameter Handle Is Way Too Big. Corrected This Now to 25mm But It's Pushed Some of the Blade Base Sizes Out There. Lots of Just Guessing Until It Looks Right. V1.2: Added Ratio and Percentages for Blade Decoration as Well As Blade Base Width. Model Is Not Scaled, So Use Your Best Judgment with Values You Plug In. If Anyone Has Better Ideas on Sizing, I'd Love to Know. Now Includes a Slicing Feature to Cut Sword Up into Pieces for Printing. V1.1: Got Some Ratios from Screen Shots, So Sizes Should Look Better Now. Redid BladeBase to Be a % and Easier to Work with.
