edit: If you want one of these for cheap without building it yourself, i have them on yurtmarket.com If you want to be a hermit you can build this yurt and become a fixture in the woods. uses 1x2 lumber and 1 1/2 inch screws to make a frame. tested to 16' diameter. rafter apex model is for doubling rafter frequency, cross bar and 90 degree enforcement are for making cross sections on the walls to strengthen the frame for large yurts. To make a yurt roof, you can assemble just the roof of this frame, wrap around some 13,18, or 20oz vinyl and attach it with roofing screws.
