This stunning carved whale bone vertebra facial sculpture was crafted by a talented member of the Yup'ik in Alaska, showcasing exceptional skill and attention to detail. The artist adorned it with luxurious wolf fur, carefully incorporating baleen elements into the human face for an uncanny effect, and even added shells as its mesmerizing eyes. Unfortunately, when a 3-D scan was performed using a Go!Scan 50, issues arose in capturing the intricate fur and baleen features, rendering them less than ideal.
