A delicious pineapple was transformed into a digital model via image-based 3D reconstruction offered by hypr3d.com. As it was initially made for a client, the creators further refined the model and prepared it for printing. To achieve this, they utilized 36 images to generate a 450K face digital representation. They then used Netfabb Studio Basic to fill any holes and reduced the model's faces in Meshlab to 25k. Finally, the creators printed multiple pineapple models on a BFB 3000 printer.
