I replace the flat back cover of my Yujin dial indicator with one that features a hook. This modification allows me to attach the dial indicator directly to various 3D printer mounts for precise bed leveling. To accomplish this, I start by printing a custom indicator mount specifically designed for my MakerGear M2 3D printer. One example is the "Indicator Mount" available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:600644. Once printed, I secure the dial indicator to the mount using an M5 screw and the hooked back cover.
