AUGUST 2021 UPDATE After *much* cajoling and requests, I have included the "cuff" piece that was originally part of SetoKoiba's design. As everyone's arms will be different, I *cannot* modify the cuff in anyway and expect it to work for you. You will need to modify and resize it to best fit you on your own. I give the warning, it will likely *not* be a nice piece to work with and it *will not* prevent the duel disk from slipping or twisting on your arm while wearing it. You will still need something to hold on to, like the handle method my design included or a stick like JackofHeartsobd did. JULY 2021 WING-R+ Super Update! (Wing V2) After much feedback that the original Wing pieces were difficult to assemble combined with feedback requesting Extra Monster Zones and a Field Spell Zone, I've made a brand new version of the Wing. While now chunkier than before, this update fixes both issues; as well as reducing the overall number of pieces that make the Wing from over 20 to only 13. HUGE thank you to JackofHeartsodb for his remix that fixed the mesh of the top platform! His remix is still different to this one, but is also compatible. His top platform will assemble differently and is a few millimeters thinner. His printer of choice being very hi-res has been the benchmark to beat for quality. Updated Features: - The Wing is now 2 platforms, a top and bottom (split into 4 pieces each) that glue on top of each other. They're split in different places so that top pieces overlap bottom pieces. - Bottom Wing platform has the slots for Spell/Trap cards, Extra Monster Zones, a Field Spell and even slots on the underside for the connections to the Hub. - Slots have been reduced in depth for cards to fit better (from 1.5mm to 0.70mm). This will still let cards be pushed or pulled with ease, but not fall out without excessive shaking. - All-in-one and Many-in-one versions of both platforms are included in case you have a printer large enough. A thinner blank version of the bottom platform has also been included; which will just make a thicker Wing, in case you wanted to use the V1 pieces. - Newer Wing Connector pieces have been made that tilt the Wing down. This makes inserting Spell/Trap cards easier and better show your field to your opponent. It'll also hide your arm better for photos. The old V1 connector pieces will still work for the V2 Wing if you don't want it tilted. - The old 5-slot top platform is fully compatible with the new bottom platform! The new top platform has its pieces split differently, however, so the overlap will not be perfect; particularly where the halves join in the middle. The newer top platform is also thicker and could be assembled without the lower platform to use the V1 pieces. As of 8. July 2021, my version should be the best version of this duel disk available. I do try hard, after all! :) Please see the comments for assembly instructions or the video below. I proudly present the Compact! Fight Disc for Card Games This is SetoKoiba's excellent design put on a strict diet and sent to higher education. No really, it's been shrunk by 1/5 overall and greatly reduced in thickness for the "wing" section. The difference is subtle, but extremely noticeable when side by side (especially when it's on your arm!). What I did was to chop up the model into more manageable pieces, then bring the monster card slots closer together and shrinking the "hub" part and re-carving the deck/graveyard slots. The main point is that the duel disk can now be printed from a single spool, depending on your settings. Then I added some extra features for quality of life. Features: - All slots (monster, spell/trap, graveyard, extra deck) support cards in sleeves. - Main deck slot holds ~40 cards. - Slot for ~15 extra deck cards added below main deck. - Graveyard slot expanded and able to hold entire deck. - Graveyard has added flip-up door so cards don't fall out and added finger hole so cards can't get stuck. - Spell/Trap card slots have been modeled as trays to be glued on the underside of the wing. - Spell/Trap card trays have cut-outs to view while facedown. - Wing has been modified to "snap on" with pressure-fit tabs/slots. - Entire Duel Disk has been greatly reduced in size for a form factor just a hair larger than the Mattel toy version. Please note that the disc pictured has 6 slots as a tribute to the hyper-rare "Fight Disc for Card Games" seen here, while the files provided will make a traditional 5 slot duel disk: https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Fight_Disc_for_Card_Games My specific disc also has the spell/trap cards loading from the back, which needs the wing to be raised up from the hub in order to work. If you instead load your spell/trap cards from the front, you could attach your wing flush to the hub, but will need different connectors to do so. I did not model those. This remix uses a 1/2 inch PVC tube and elbow couplings to make the handle. It does not have a cuff for your arm like in the anime/manga.
