Here's how to modify a YT Jeffsy chain for use on a 30T cassette: The standard XT derailleur is not suitable for this setup, so you'll need to swap it out with a newer model. Make sure the derailleur is compatible with your frame and wheel size before making the switch. To adjust the derailleur, you'll need to lengthen the cable by about an inch. This will give you enough slack to accommodate the tighter cassette teeth. To do this, simply wrap more cable around the barrel adjuster.
