Yoyo Fixture

Yoyo Fixture

thingiverse

Chris and Jim CIM have created an excellent tutorial for teaching Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling basics by engraving into a wooden yoyo. You can find the project details here: http://chrisandjimcim.com/tag/yo-yo/. The project requires a fixture made of RenShape 450 or similar material (https://www.freemansupply.com/products/machinable-media/renshape-modeling-and-styling-boards/renshape-450-medium-density-modeling-board). My goal is to support the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) community by helping instructors complete this project even if they don't have RenShape or wood to make the fixture. With the provided files, you can simply print the fixture. The dimensions were taken exactly from the instructions given in the downloadable project folder here: http://chrisandjimcim.com/yo-yo-project-now-available-for-download/. I hope that teachers, students, and makers will be able to use the files to complete a fun project!
