Ancient Greek-inspired Roman sculpture of Hercules showcases remarkable craftsmanship despite numerous broken elements. Rodin proudly displayed a Hercules in his collection, declaring: "Strength frequently harmonizes with elegance, and authentic elegance proves resilient; this Hercules exemplifies this dual principle." This rare piece was meticulously scanned at the 'Rodin and the art of ancient Greece' exhibition held at The British Museum, London (April 26th - July 29th, 2018). The original work is permanently housed at the Musée Rodin in Paris.
