You'll find it works flawlessly! To make cutting out cookies a breeze, use the assembled cookie cutter right after cutting to detach the sticky dough easily. For assembly, all you need is a spring that can be taken from an ordinary ballpoint pen. The ideal length of the spring should be around 30 mm or 1.18 inches long and have a diameter of about 4 mm or 0.15 inches. If it's still too short, you can simply stretch it by hand. Make sure the dough is chilled when you're ready to cut it out. Alternatively, if you prefer using an ordinary cookie cutter, you can detach the dough by gently tapping the backside with a spoon.
