All models test successfully printed. (View images). Printed on Creality CR-10 S4 at 220mm height using PLA, with settings as follows: Nozzle Temperature - 215c, Layer Height - 0.2mm, Walls - Top 5, Side 4, Bottom 4, Speed - 15mm/s, Supports - Yes, Raft - Yes set to 2 base layers and 2 top 100% infill layers with no separation, Cooling - None. Reflections: No issues encountered at 220mm tall height, and supports for arms placed at 3.5mm density with a 52-degree overhang angle were extremely satisfactory and left little mark due to excellent placement and also setting them to 0.02mm separation. 3D printing tips: The optimal print speed can be determined by the nozzle temperature's stability; therefore, if you can reduce temperature fluctuations on the hot end, a better result will be achieved. Never use cooling at low heights to prevent warping of the base and maintain below 30% fan speed on fast-printed narrow parts and the very top where the hot end remains on a small area. I consistently employ a raft on a glass heated bed set at 72c for PLA, making the raft part of the base by setting separation and offset to zero, creating a solid foundation and improving bed adhesion for tall prints and reducing filament waste. It is crucial that infill should always print in both directions for every layer, resulting in much cleaner walls and top surfaces especially at higher layers and adds strength. Supports should be placed at a 55-degree angle or less with a density of around 20% for tall prints, and double up on tall supports by adding adjacent columns. Several failed prints are the result of environmental temperature fluctuations causing non-uniform heated bed temperatures, which leads to warping and nozzle/print collisions knocking over supports or the model itself.
