All models have been thoroughly tested and confirmed (check out the accompanying images). The print job was carried out on a Creality CR-10 S4 at a height of 240mm, utilizing PLA material at 215c with a .4mm nozzle and a layer height of .2mm. The settings for this print were carefully selected: Walls were printed at 5 top, 4 side, and 4 bottom, with a speed of 15mm/s, and supports were indeed applied, positioned strategically beneath arms and spears (see the attached photos). To achieve optimal results with my models via 3D printing: A crucial aspect is maintaining a balanced speed and temperature ratio, which will help minimize layer gaps that tend to occur at higher layers. In order to find the perfect print speed, focus on achieving stable nozzle temperatures, which can be improved upon by reducing hot end temperature fluctuations – yet never compromise on quality, as excessive speeds or low fan speeds (under 30%) can lead to base warping when paired with a heated bed. In addition to speed considerations: - I consistently employ a raft at 74c for PLA printing onto a glass heated bed, treating the raft as an integral component of the base model. To do this effectively: 1) Set both the separation and offset features to zero. This action solidifies the base model, strengthens its foundation on the print surface, minimizes waste due to the absence of unwanted plastic segments generated by excessive support layer detaching from their anchor sites.
