You wine vessel in double-owl shape

Two owls sit back to back, forming a wine vessel. The domed lid takes shape as the birds' heads. Every surface is richly decorated except for the backs of the short, stout legs. Squared spirals cover the background throughout. Two birds with cleft crests and bottle horns flank the animal-head-shaped lugs on the neck of the vessel, their tails adorned with scales. The Minneapolis Institute of Art scanned this object.
