Yoshipad (PiGRRL Remix)

I really loved the concept of the PiGRRL Zero, but I wasn't sold on the case at all, so I decided to remix it into something that better fit my style... which may have been a bit ambitious considering I had only just gotten my first 3D printer a few weeks earlier. This isn't a professional job by any means and I'm sure more experienced makers could improve it dramatically, but it does serve the purpose for which it was intended, so I'm happy with it and will be unlikely to make any further changes to the uploaded design. Internally, I used the same parts as the PiGRRL Zero with the exception of the battery, which I replaced with one that I already had on hand. Print Settings Printer: Da Vinci Jr Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 20% Notes: The top and bottom were printed without rafts and supports and came out fine. Triggers will require support at the retaining ring sits below the main body of the trigger. Note that the positioning of the trigger is important as it rests against the microswitch which must be seated accordingly. There is a cut-out at the foot of the bottom section as I had a multi-colour LED that I wanted to incorporate into the design. This is not required for a build. Finally, for power you will need a slim-fit Micro USB as the powerboost is recessed and the aperture is quite small. This was because I had a flat-style cable that I wanted to use. You could always increase the width in your design software of choice. How I Designed This I created an entirely new case in Tinkercad starting with a basic rectangle and two half spheres. This was then sliced and hollowed. I brought in the screw posts from the original design and seated them accordingly - after all, there's no point in reinventing the wheel. I also used the buttons and d-pad from the PiGRRL Zero.
