Yosemite Landmark Bookends

This Thing features four bookends, each modeled after El Capitan, Cathedral Rocks East, Half Dome, and Glacier Point, along with various project files used to create them. The final assembly of the bookend stand and natural feature was achieved through a process involving Cura, where they were aligned and exported as one STL file, then imported into meshlab to remove internal wall faces. I sourced data from NASA's SRTM and ASTER GDEM global elevation models, which I then used in conjunction with a tool developed for my business that enables me to select any area from the dataset and generate an STL file based on the elevation model.
