<p>This is a challenge coin featuring the logo for the Civilian Antarctic observation team from the show 'A Place Further than the Universe'.</p><p><strong>Print notes:</strong></p><p>This model is designed as a six-colour single-extruder print. The filament is switched six times at specific layers to achieve the multi-colour effect. </p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/143488/rich_content/da93a0bf-452f-44c8-8b54-3714c76b73e9/image.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2251d6ddfa-4252-4729-8841-0fd66ba53f52%22%2C%22w%22%3A961%2C%22h%22%3A795%7D"></figure><p>The presliced files include change-filament instructions at the following layer heights, at a .15mm layer height resolution:</p><p>Sky Blue - z 0.95 (layer 6)<br>Pink - z 1.7 (layer 11)<br>Yellow - z 2.3 (layer 15)<br>White - z 2.6 (layer 17)<br>Black - z 3.2 (layer 21)<br>Orange - z 3.5 (layer 23)</p><p>Start the print of with whatever colour you wish for the base of the coin to be. In my example, I used black filament for the coin base.</p><p>There is an optional coin rim model included that can be used to envelope the outside edge of the coin, hiding the colour-switch layers.</p>
