Yomamma's Japanese Puzzle Box

Yomamma's Japanese Puzzle Box is modeled after a classic Japanese puzzle box, boasting two cleverly hidden chambers where most boxes have only one. The design features panels that move up and down, gradually allowing the top to be removed, revealing the inner chamber. Additionally, this puzzle box has a second chamber containing a pull-out drawer that can only be accessed after the first chamber is exposed. The box's intricate parts are designed with tight tolerances, requiring thorough cleaning before assembly. All flat surfaces should be lightly sanded or shaved with a razor knife to ensure no excess plastic remains from the mold. For fitting purposes, the box can be snapped together, but it's essential to ultimately glue the pieces in place. Snap the box together and test fit many of the components, checking clearances on moving parts before cementing them in place. Yomamma's Japanese Puzzle Box consists of 16 STL files and a total of 23 unique pieces. Several pieces are labeled with a 1 or a 2, each end of the puzzle box is distinct, and pieces with the same ending number should be placed on the same end of the box. The determination of which end is 1 and which is 2 is not required until you've constructed the initial box frame. To ensure proper assembly, print this design at a height of .1 mm; printing at any other height may cause problems with some of the tolerances. Video instructions can be found at: https://youtu.be/PrnjtofoEBU. If you want to see the box in action, a clip of the box being opened is shown at the end of the video. Print Specifications: Print head = .4 Initial layer = .1 Print height = .1 Brim = 15 Top/bottom = .5 (5 layers) Wall width = 1.6 (4 layers) Fill density = 20% for all parts
