<h3>Yokomo / MST 2.5 like 3d printed gearbox.</h3> <p><a href="/thing:5768730" target="_blank">DM2 drift chassis</a> compatible gearbox.<br> I would not recommend consider this gearbox as permanent solution. Use it temporary before purchase factory one from MST.<br><br> Operational, tested - works well but noisy. Optimized to print with ABS (if you print with PETG - highly likely all holes will be oversized, plus you can't install insert nuts. For 3mm holes i set 3.2mm in the model, and after print i pass through with 3mm drill). For gears I recommend to use nylon as alternative, but be sure to use nylon with shrinkage close to ABS shrinkage. Fill up insert nut's holes with abs-acetone solution(liquor) after installing nuts. Gears itself are not compatible with MST gears, so you can't mix. </p><p> To assemble you need bearings, m3 embeded nuts, 2x 20mm 4mm steel shaft, m4 0.3mm washers, some m3 screews and HSP diff (flyingfish, 02024). In addition you need one 55mm M2.5 screw (plus nut and washer). </p> <p>Partlist:<br> <ul> <li>MXS-310101R - MST RMX Aluminum motor mount - highly recommended (~7$).
