Yep, another Yoda Bust! Nope, this is definitely not some Thingiverse rip-off you've seen stolen and pilfered for years now. I stumbled upon this mesh on an old hard drive from way back in the 90's - the creation date of the original Yoda mesh file was December 1998. Yes, that's right, 1998, long before any of us were even thinking about 3D printing, or a lot of people for that matter were seriously into 3D modeling. Unfortunately, I couldn't give credit to whoever actually created this mesh because we don't know who it was in the first place. I didn't do much to it, just threw it into ZBrush and smoothed out a couple things here and there, but basically it's still the original model - now converted. Now that you know this model is nearly 20 years old, go take a look at all the other Yodas on Thingiverse, even some of the ones that have been featured. It doesn't take a genius to figure out where they all came from. I'm not sure what kind of glory people get out of claiming someone else's work as their own, but I guess it's like those singers who mime to their songs - they'll get caught out one day. p.s Yes, I fixed his eyes after the photos were taken - the pinholes were creeping me out!
