Open your beers I will not! This yoda bottle opener stands on its own as a unique piece of craftsmanship, boasting a distinctive shape and appearance when idle, yet concealing a useful feature in the form of a bottle opener at its base. Instructions follow. Existing Yoda STLs have been taken apart and dissected in meshlab, reducing the complexity of the original model from 400k faces to a streamlined 10k faces, enabling effortless importation into solidworks without undue noticeability. Once reassembled in solidworks, the bottle opener feature was cleverly incorporated at its base, drawing inspiration from preceding models of bottle openers that I have previously created and thoroughly tested. However, this new creation has not yet been subjected to rigorous testing and hence is classified as a work in progress. As soon as further testing and refinement become possible, this piece will be further optimized. For printing purposes, replicatorG software was employed where it was carefully rotated and equipped with full support inside the bottle opener cavity. UPDATE 1: With adjustments to its design, the bottle now fits perfectly. To verify this prior to creating the entire Yoda figurine, I recommend printing the attached test piece to confirm compatibility. UPDATE 2: This item has undergone thorough examination albeit perhaps not quite as extensively as one might have hoped. Nonetheless, results indicate that it performs satisfactorily. Stand by for additional testing information if your concerns remain unresolved. UPDATE 3: Following extensive evaluation over a several-month period of utilization, Yoda proved to be effective though at length, the opener did eventually shatter along the printed plane's horizontal axis. Notable printing parameters include a possible 30% infill ratio and three shells - increasing these should alleviate structural weakness. Consequently, I intend to reprint this design and carry out further assessment. Additionally, over several repeated uses, Yoda's lip has somewhat eroded and becomes gradually more difficult to use by virtue of wear. To determine what precise adjustment is required for rectification, some investigation remains pending - as such updates to the STL file may ensue at a later time. UPDATE 4: After reintroduction into testing with improved parameters like increased infill (60% as it stands) and enhanced solid walls, I must declare this Yoda Bottle Opener operating without issue thus far. Feel free to keep watch for further revisions in light of future trial findings!
