Ymrich Industries T-01 Locomotive (printable)

Please note that this is a static display version of the locomotive. There is a motorized one here, available for download, too. Hotfix (Feb 19, 2020): Replaced yesterday's update with new files (Chassis Inner L4.stl and Chassis Inner R4.stl), because I forgot to insert the infills for the leaf springs, resulting in a misprint. The current version should print fine, but I haven't tested it yet, so I'm still keeping v2 as well. Update (Feb 18, 2020): In preparation for creating a motorized version, I have updated both the left and the right suspension parts of the chassis (Chassis Inner L3.stl and Chassis Inner R3.stl). The new version fixed an issue with some unnecessary, hopefully making the parts easier to print and more rigid. I also increased the diameter of the axel holes to 3.6mm for a better fit. The parts consist of unmerged objects, as I found out that my printer can handle those, too, reducing artifacts to a minimum, but possibly this could cause some issues for some people, not sure. For this reason, and also because this version is still untested, I'm still keeping version 2 (L2 and R2) among the files. This is a fully printable fictional locomotive for my 35mm-gauge rail system. So far, it's only a static model, but a motorized version is in development. Please use the Windows 3D Builder and the file "Assembly_Reference.3mf" for reference on where each part goes. But if you are on another platform, the photos along with the part descriptions should do the job, too. The model is designed as a 35-mm gauge (which I define as the horizontal distance between the centers of the wheels of this prototype train, so the actual distance between rails will probably be a tad mode), which I am developing, intentionally chosen not to match any of the standard gauges, while being optimally suited for the size of my printer. But obviously, the scale can be adjusted. Enjoy! Ymrich Industries is an imaginary industry giant with its headquarters in Kocourkov. It focuses mainly on the production of all sorts of vehicles and means of transportation and accessories. It was founded in the late seventies and since, it grew at an exponential rate. It is estimated to control over 60 percent of the imaginary transportation market in the imaginary world. The T01 (or T301, the 3 designating the number of powered axles) is the very first diesel-electric locomotive made by Ymrich Industries and was a great success, its characteristic appearance impressing itself upon the pliable young minds of countless boys, who would later in their lives become very nostalgic for this machine.
