Yiwe
thingiverse
Here is the rewritten text in American English: I am presenting an art piece by Anahí Caceres from 2016. This work is based on a semiological object from Mapuche ceremonial practices. The etymology of the roots in its name, signs, and way it's manipulated contain concepts about space/time (Coordinates and Solstices), Origin of the Universe (Legend of Tren Tren and Kai Kai, primordial snakes), permanence and rituals (recording of the serpents' path and mode of offering drinking while looking east). This YIWE was created for the opening lecture "From Data to Matter. 3D Printing" at the 3rd International Symposium on Printed Art, Faculty of Arts, National University of Tucumán - Argentina - held from July 27th to 29th, 2016.
