Yin and Yang cat5 cable travel spool
thingiverse
I prefer flat cat5 cables for travel because they conserve space compared to standard cables. Several of my D-Link IP cameras came with free extra cables since I used other cables on those devices. On our last trip, I realized there must be a neater way to store this cable so it doesn't get damaged when pulling it out of luggage. This is similar to how retractable cables function, but manual: simply wrap it around and plug in RJ45s. Hopefully, this helps you out. Printer Settings: Printer: mini Kossel Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30% Notes: To insert the cable correctly, one end should be slightly longer than the other so both ends reach the RJ45 jacks. Once pushed to the bottom of the hub, it's challenging to retrieve. Partially push it in or flush until lengths are correct; then use a screwdriver to push it all the way down. With your 3D printer, I'm confident you'll figure this out. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
