Available sizes Small – 1:6 of the actual size | Normal & Pre-supported versions Description Yi qi is an extinct genus of small, feathered dinosaur that lived in what is now China during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 160 million years ago. It is notable for having a unique feature among dinosaurs: a long, thin, rod-like bone extending from each wrist, which supported a membranous wing structure. This wing structure is similar to that of bats and is thought to have enabled Yi qi to glide or fly short distances. The first fossils of Yi qi were discovered in 2015, making it a relatively recent addition to the dinosaur family tree. Additional Details Chitubox file provided if you want to resize the model. Care should be taken when removing supports. Using a heat gun or a blow dryer is highly recommended.
