Yi/Kami Surveillance Camera Interior Corner Mount

Bracket & Faceplate to allow Yi Camera module to mount to interior corner and tilt using gopro style hinge.I have included Fusion360 (.f3d) and .step files for anyone wishing to modify either the faceplate or bracket (e.g. add screw holes for mounting, etc). The faceplate is tall enough to give clearance for the long and bulky microUSB connector that comes with the Yi Camera, with opening in the corner bracket to feed (and secure) the wire as desired. The bracket was designed with the intention to mount it with command strips to both interior walls; any adhesive should work.Hinge has 3.15mm diameter hole for M3x20mm bolt w/ captive insert for M3 nut. These are inserted parametrically in the Fusion360 (.f3d) file, so it is simple to open the f(x) list and change the ‘diameter_threads’ and ‘diameter_nuts’ parameters to use whatever bolt&nut is desired. ‘mk3s_tolerance’ parameter is added to relevant dimensions such as diameter of hole for bolt and nut; adjust as needed for your printer and material.Printed in PETG with 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm Layer Height, 10% Infill, and 3 perimeters.Note0: GoPro style hinge on the Bracket requires supports, mine were inadequate as I used ‘Top Contact Z Distance’ of 0.3mm. Regardless, the ugly hinge is functional as is.Note1: Yi Camera faceplate has opening of 45.9mm as the first version with 46mm (as measured from original Yi Camera stand) was slightly loose. I reduced it with the intention of lightly sanding the interior of the opening if necessary. This parameter may be adjusted in the Fusion360 file as needed for your printer and material.
