My son built this lens cover as a convenient-on and off plus stronger substitute for the delicate cloth bag included. I attached my own soft foam or other preferred non-abrasive material to the Circular indents to pad the lens. The grooves along the edges are designed as a guide to prevent any plastic from touching the lens during lens cover engagement, even when putting it on initially. Prints without supports.
