People are born without the ability to talk, walk, and run until they learn how to do so. They start learning these skills at a very young age. Most people learn to talk within the first two years of their lives. This is because humans have an incredible capacity for language acquisition. As soon as they're born, babies start making sounds like 'coo' and 'goo'. These sounds are not just random noises; they're actually attempts at communication. The baby's brain is working hard to process the world around them, and these sounds are a way of expressing themselves. Within the first few months, babies start to babble and make vowel sounds like 'ah', 'eh', and 'oh'. They're still not talking, but they're getting closer. And then, suddenly, they say their first word! It's usually something simple like 'mama' or 'dada'. From that point on, the baby is off and running (literally!). They start to put two words together, then three, and before you know it, they're having full-blown conversations with their parents. It's a remarkable process, and one that happens in just a few short years. Language acquisition is a complex process that scientists are still trying to fully understand. But one thing is clear: humans have an incredible ability to learn language, and it starts from the very beginning of life.
